HONG KONG LIGHT BUS

In 2012, the Government introduced the Government Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme for the Elderly and Eligible Persons, also known as the "Two Mosquitoes Concession", under which elderly people aged 65 or above and eligible persons with disabilities can travel on all GMB routes with a designated Octopus for only $2 per trip. The concession scheme has been extended to GMBs in phases since March 2015 and now covers all GMB routes. Apart from the above concessions for the elderly and eligible persons with disabilities, the general public can also enjoy fare rebate and interchange discount when paying their fares with their Octopus cards, making life easier and more convenient for the people of Hong Kong.
