PLAYGROUND SLIDE
In the 1960s and 1980s, Hong Kong people were generally in a period of 'hardship'. Many people chose to live in public housing (resettlement blocks) provided by the government, so the playgrounds in the vicinity of the housing estates became a popular destination for children. In those days, there were all kinds of playgrounds in the housing estates, the most common ones being the Taipa spinning, wobble boards, swings and (metal) slides, but the long (metal) slide was the most popular with children. The slide is one or two storeys high, and the speed of the slide is very fast, and there is a smooth slide at the end.
